Gianni Atzori was elected to the council in Oristano Sardinian Action Party (with 266 preferences) in May 1985 . He served as leader of "Quattro Mori" (7 advisers, the second group in the Council ). With him in the municipal council in Oristano: Maria Teresa Sechi, Gigi Sanna, Franco Mariotti, Carlo and Giorgio Pettinau Farris (who then took over Alvise Pintus ) and Antonio Lavra.
